Police in Trinidad and Tobago are investigating the fatal shooting of 30-year-old social media personality Darrina Dow, also known online as “Darri Boss.” The incident occurred on the night of November 8, 2025, at Strode’s Bar on Maraj Street in Pasea Extension, Tunapuna, not far from Dow’s residence. Reports indicate that at approximately 10:30 p.m., Dow was seated with acquaintances and engaged in a card game when a white AD Wagon, registered PDX 3459, stopped outside the establishment. A masked individual, described as tall and wearing dark clothing, exited the vehicle and approached the group. The suspect was armed with what appeared to be a firearm and discharged multiple rounds in Dow’s direction before returning to the awaiting vehicle and leaving the scene.
Following the shooting, Dow was transported to the Mt. Hope Hospital by a bystander accompanied by her father. Medical personnel pronounced her dead on arrival at 11:25 p.m. Hospital records and later investigative updates confirmed that she sustained four gunshot wounds to the back.
Officers attached to the North Central Division and Region II Homicide Bureau responded to the location. Crime Scene Investigators processed the area, collected spent shell casings, gathered witness statements, and initiated inquiries to obtain surveillance footage from nearby buildings and businesses. At this stage, police have not identified a motive for the killing. Investigators are continuing to track leads related to the vehicle and the shooter’s identity. The investigation remains ongoing.
